A Different View of Russia, without Political Interference or agenda.

I am a Norwegian content creator publishing under the name This Norway Guy. My work focuses on documenting everyday life, people, and culture in Russia, seen through the eyes of an outsider driven by curiosity, not ideology.

What my content is about:

The purpose of this project is to highlight sides of Russia that rarely reach Western audiences. I aim to provide a more human, nuanced perspective and sometimes mainly entertaining, not to defend or criticize, but simply to show that Russia is more than headlines, geopolitics, or the Kremlin.

My content mainly focuses on:

Contrasts between East and West
Human encounters and observations
Daily life, traditions, and culture
Unfiltered impressions and personal curiosity
my own experiences

The project is constantly evolving, and so is my understanding of the places I visit. I don’t claim to represent any ultimate truth, I share what I see and feel, honestly.

What this project is not

It is not politically motivated. I have no affiliations with any state media, government agency, or political movement, neither in Russia nor the West.

I am not trying to convince anyone of any political ideologies, i am simply documenting what i see in my own style as an independent blogger.

This is not traditional journalism. This is a personal exploration, raw, subjective, and open-ended.
My content is not necessarily factual, it's mainly entertainment, based on personal experiences.
